More Suspected Crooks Caught on Tape: Burglars' Photos Released

Two men are wanted on suspicion of breaking into two Elk Grove cell phone stores last week.

Elk Grove Police on Tuesday released surveillance photos and video of the suspects; authorities say the two men broke into an AT&T store on W. Stockton Boulevard and a T-Mobile store on Elk Grove Boulevard early Friday morning. They allegedly stole $2,000 worth of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones and 10 cell phones.

Based on video surveillance, the first suspect appears to be an African-American male adult, six feet tall (6'0"), one hundred fifty pounds (150 lbs).  The suspect was wearing a black hooded zippered sweat jacket, faded blue jeans with black/white shoes and was carrying a black backpack.  The second suspect was an African-American male, 18 to 22 years of age, approx. six feet tall (6'0"), one hundred fifty pounds (150 lbs).  The suspect was wearing a black hooded zippered sleeveless vest, blue jeans and black shoes.  Surveillance video and photos of the suspects are attached. 

Anyone with information regarding these crimes is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357).  Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.  Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
