What Should Replace Borders and Save Mart?

First , now : The Laguna Crossroads shopping center in Elk Grove now has two major vacancies.

The Laguna Boulevard center, owned by Donahue Schriber, still has major retailers like and smaller attractions like . But no new stores have been announced to replace Borders, , and Save Mart, .

Donahue Schriber Property Manager Sharon Cooney said Thursday that neither vacant space has a tenant lined up.

"We're still working on it," she said by phone.

Cooney declined to say whether any potential tenants were looking at the center.
