The clear winner of Elk Grove Patch's first-ever is Duncan. With more than twice as many votes as the nearest competitor, Duncan's owner Lisa Schaeffr will win a $25 gift certificate to whichever , as well as two Patch T-shirts.
Duncan spends his days at , a massage therapy business owned by Shaeffr. He has his own Facebook fan page with more than 100 friends.
"Thank you for this fun contest, my (and Duncan's) clients love it!" Shaeffr said in an email last week.
The runner-up in the cutest dog contest is Elphie, a Dalmatian owned by Julia Shultz. She'll also win two Patch T-shirts.
