Chili Cook Off Event Schedule and Transit Map

Get your spoons ready! The long-awaited 4th Annual Spring Festival and Chili Cook Off takes place in Old Town Saturday.

The free festival will take over Elk Grove Blvd from 2nd Avenue to Derr Street. Here's a schedule of the day's events:

10:00 a.m. Festival opens

12:00 p.m. Chili tasting and voting (tasting kits are $5)

2:00 p.m. Chili eating contest

All day: Live music, beer garden, carnival rides, petting zoo, rockclimbing

6:00 p.m. Festival closes

To avoid parking snafus, festivalgoers can take advantage of free shuttles running to and from the festival on the east and west sides. Shuttles will stop every 15 minutes from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at various locations along Elk Grove Blvd (see attached route map).
