Thanks to National Take Your Dog to Work Day, people all around the country are being unproductive at work and playing with their pups instead. But who in Elk Grove has the cutest dog? There's only one way to find out: By asking Elk Grove Patch readers.

This contest will look to settle any local debate and crown Elk Grove's cutest dog. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to , as well as a pair of Patch T-shirts.

The runner-up will win two Patch T-shirts.

How to Vote: Cast your vote for your favorite dog by commenting in the comments section below. Be sure to specify which pooch you're voting for! Each person may only vote once. (See below for rules.)

Voting Deadline: Voting closes at 2 p.m. Friday, June 29.

Between Elk Grove's thousands of residents (and thousands of dogs!), we're sure there are plenty of people eager to enter this contest by submitting photos of their best friends to this article.

Please don't forget to include your name, the name of your dog and a way to contact you if you win! You can upload photos to this article yourself by clicking "Upload Photos and Videos" above or by e-mailing them to cody.kitaura@patch.com.

Thanks for the suggestion. The City is currently studying a new interchange off 99 and Whitelock,Read More and the project is in our General Plan. We’re also updating the Elk Grove Blvd. onramp—currently one of the most outdated on 99 in the region. Work will begin this summer.

An overpass and off/on ramps will be built at Whitelock Parkway after the mall is built, whichRead More should take place after the soccer stadium is built, which should take place after the city secures a professional soccer team. Elk Grove better make sure the professional soccer team is a women's team, or else LaWanna Montgomery will be mad.
