Multicultural Festival: The city of Elk Grove's Multicultural Committee will host a free, outdoor event with food, vendors and performers from many different cultures.

Hot August Nights: At Country Oaks Baptist Church, the free family event includes live music, games, a chili cook-off, car show, bounce houses, outdoor movie night and more. Bring chairs for the movie. 
When: Saturday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Watercolor Collage Workshop: At the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center Saturday, the workshop will introduce artists to the use of various hand-made papers to create an integrated collage watercolor composition.
