Weekend Planner: Free Concert, Art Reception, 5K Run

: Enjoy "Blues Night" with the Gary Mendoza Band at the free musical event in a beautiful outdoor ampitheater. There is a new blanket policy; no pets allowed, except for service animals. Food is available for purchase.

Saturday, Sept. 1 

: Hosted by the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center, this is a free “Kick Off - Meet the Artists” reception and invitation to its 1st Annual Elk Grove Art Tour, which will be held September 29. The art tour will include 27 artists displaying, demos and selling artwork at 10 different locations. 
When: Saturay, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Thanks for the suggestion. The City is currently studying a new interchange off 99 and Whitelock,Read More and the project is in our General Plan. We’re also updating the Elk Grove Blvd. onramp—currently one of the most outdated on 99 in the region. Work will begin this summer.

Elk Grove better make sure the professional soccer team is a women's team, or else LaWanna Montgomery will be mad.
