Grass skirt optional. Hawaiian Tropical Luau is the theme for the Franklin Football Boosters 4th Annual Wildcat Football Dinner/Dance fundraiser Friday at the 's Valley Oak Ballroom, complete with raffles, a live auction and dance performance by Makamae Melia O' Polynesia. Festivities go from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Showtime. If the sounds of harmonicas and horns float your boat, don't miss the Delta Wires at 6:30 p.m. this Saturday at McConnell Estates Winery. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., so arrive a bit early to claim a great lawn spot and relax over a glass of wine before the music starts.
