Each year, the Elk Grove Food Bank Services feeds 36,000 needy Elk Grove residents. Later this month, community members will run and walk to help support the food bank.
The ninth-annual Run 4 Independence, a run and walk to benefit the food bank, will be held June 29 at Elk Grove Regional Park.
Online registration is open until June 25, but here's your chance to participate in the race for free: Can you guess where the above photo was taken? Post your guess (be specific!) in the comments section below and you'll be entered to win a free race registration for the Run 4 Independence (valued at $35).
At 12 p.m. on Friday, June 14, four winners will be chosen at random to receive free registration to the event.
