Where to Get a Flu Shot in the Sacramento Area

Find your way toward a low or no-cost flu shot before the season gets underway.

The drop in temperatures may be the among the best indicators of the changing seasons, and reminder to get an annual flu shot. There are many low-cost clinics in the Sacramento area to meet that demand, especially for seniors and those with chronic illness.

"While there is little flu activity right now, flu season usually begins in October, and flu activity is expected to increase in the coming weeks to months," the Center for Disease control stated. The agency recommends that everyone six months and older get a flu vaccine each year, which protects against the three viruses research indicates will cause the most illness during the upcoming season. 

The following is a llst of local clinics offering the flu shot at low or no cost. 

Roseville Medical Clinic

Through the County of Sacramento Divion of Public Health Immunization Assistance Program, seniors can receive a shot for a $10 donation at the following places and times:
