The City of Elk Grove is looking for an Information Technology Analyst or a Senior Information Technology Analyst, but it hasn't yet decided which.
"This position may be filled at the Information Technology Analyst or the Senior Information Technology Analyst level (depending on qualifications, funding and responsibilities assigned to the position)," the city wrote on its website.
The analyst job requires four years of experience while the senior position requires six.
The new hire will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading and repairing city computers, networks, databases, radios, phones and other equipment.
The city is looking for someone with experience in "Windows XP/7, Active Directory, Microsoft Office and MS-Exchange," and would prefer someone who knows "IBM mainframe, SunGard HTE, Citrix, Cisco voice over I.P., [and] Altiris Client Management System/Help desk."
The job pays between $59,951 and $84,357 a year.
