Attempted Armed Robbery Reported at Rental Car Lot

Police say the Avis on Elk Grove Boulevard was targeted Tuesday.

Elk Grove Police say they're looking for a man suspected of trying to rob a rental car lot Tuesday.

Police say the Avis at 8696 Elk Grove Blvd. was targeted in an "attempted armed robbery" Tuesday afternoon. The suspect was described as a black man standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 170 pounds, wearing a beanie.
