Business News: Sizzler on Bond Road Shuts its Doors

"Employees were out in the parking lot handing out coupons directing people to try the Florin Rd. location."

The Sizzler restaurant on Bond Road closed this weekend without notice.

We received an email from Elk Grove Patch reader Traci Salinas on Saturday informing us of the closing. Other locals have been discussing the closure in a thread on Elk Grove Online.

"Went to go for lunch today and employees were out in the parking lot handing out coupons directing people to try the Florin Rd. location," wrote Samsha512. "Sad to see another restaurant in E.G. bite the dust :("

Some of the commters question the quality of Sizzler's food while others speculate on what should fill the vacancy.

Check out the thread here and share your thoughts below.

I thinks that's the 1 commercial place I didn't eat in EG. Take the sizzler to south sac and it will be selling fried shrimp like crazy. LOl

Well DMS...that sounds a little racist to me, but this is sad for Elk Grove...it will get filled...eventually.

Take it for what you want. If you want Sizzler go to 6009 Florin rd. There still in buisness....Just saying!
