'Tis the season to be job hunting! The holiday season is bringing out quite a few retail positions this week. Verizon wireless, Sprint and Michaels will be hiring a few sales representatives to staff for the busy season. The Elk Grove Unified School District is in need of some clerical assistance and if you’re not too keen about going out, Intuit will be hiring for its seasonal work-at-home position preparing taxes for consumers and business.

Duties: Assist customers with sales of company products and services.

Position: Personal assistant I
Duties: Provide a wide variety of clerical and administrative functions in support of the human resources, phone support, record maintenance and assist visitors.
Requirements: High school diploma, two years clerical experience, type 35 wpm, excellent communication skills, organizational abilities and other related duties.
Compensation: $13.52 - $17.39 per hour.

Position: Financial services representative
Duties: Sell bank products and services while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements: High School diploma, one to two years prior banking experience and good communication skills.

Position: Remote seasonal tax adviser
Duties: Provide excellent customer service by phone chat and email for Turbo Tax products.
Requirements: Must be a certified public accountant, good knowledge of tax laws and five years experience preparing taxes.

Position: Workstation PC technician
Duties: Upgrade, configure, replace hardware, configure networks and perform backup recoveries for client’s computers.
Requirements: Must have a minimum of two years prior experience in PC support including deployment, one year direct customer service, excellent communication skills, professional demeanor and able to pass drug and background check.
Duties: Works under supervision of physician in providing a variety of services for patients including prepping patients, assisting in procedures and taking accurate vital signs.
Requirements: High school diploma, six months previous experience as a medical assistant, accreditation or previous military experience preferred.

Duties: Responsible for the management of all aspects of Pharmacy services at authorized outpatient locations.
Requirements: B.S. in Pharmacy, current state pharmacy license, prior experience and excellent communication skills.

Position: Sales associate
Duties: Assist customers with sales, provide product knowledge, stock inventory and other related tasks.
Requirements: Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, basic math skills and customer service experience.

Duties: Provide and sell company products and services to customers.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED and six months retail sales experience required.
Compensation: Hourly (DOE).
Bankers Life and Casualty Company
Position: Sales agent
Duties: Provide insurance protection, policy education and other related sales duties.
Requirements: Must have excellent communication skills, prior insurance experience and able to close a sale.
Duties: Respond to customer calls and correspondence, negotiate with customers who are considering leaving, confirm payment arrangements and develop ways to improve customer service.
Requirements: Associates degree in a business related field, previous customer service experience, strong knowledge of the insurance industry and bilingual in Spanish and English.

Position: Accounting clerk - temporary
Duties: Compute, classify and record data relating to financial data and records.
Requirements: Advanced auditing, basic account reconciliation, basic account analysis and advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
Compensation: $10.29 - $11.91 per hour.
