A new wellness center opening Saturday, will offer an assortment of yoga, strength conditioning and boxing not for adults, but their children as its primary clientelle.
My Temple of Wellness will hold a grand opening with an appearance from Mayor Gary Davis along with an assortment of musical performances as well as mobile food trucks providing catering for attendees.
The festivities are set to begin around 1 p.m. on Saturday at the center's 5650 Whitelock Parkway, Suite 130 location.
The new wellness center touts a number of activities it will offer to children, encouraging them to "explore and discover the mind and body in a physical, stress-free, healthy and funfilled way," according to its Facebook page.
The center promotes a stimulating environment for children's imagination and a place to help release energy in a fun, safe environment.
