One of the area's largest Korean barbecue restaurants is coming to Elk Grove.
Oz Korean BBQ, which currently has a location on Bradshaw Road in Rosemont, plans to open at the corner of Elk Grove Boulevard and I-5 later this year.
The new location, at 2605 Riparian Drive, should be open by September.
The current Oz eatery features grills at each table, and certain dishes are cooked in front of the guests. The Elk Grove location will feature an underground tunnel to direct smoke away from the grills.
"We are applying everything we learned from our first location to our second to ensure the best experience for our guest!" the eatery said on Facebook. "That is why we are doing a down draft system! No more smelling like KBBQ all day! even though it is a wonderful smell!"
