Readers' Choice: Best Veterinary Clinic

Where do you take your furry friends? Vote here.

We've got all kinds of critters here in Elk Grove, from cats to horses (and ). And sadly, they sometimes get sick.

We want to know where you take your pet when he or she is feeling low. Vote in our poll for your favorite veterinary clinic, and be sure to leave a review on the clinic's directory page by clicking on the blue link below.

Let us know why you chose this particular veterinarian. Do they specialize in large animals? Offer alternative therapies? Or simply go the extra mile to make pets feel comfortable?

As always, voting closes on Friday at 9:00 a.m. We'll announce the winning clinic, which will receive a Readers' Choice certificate, later that day.

I am so glad you posted this survey. We just visited the Laguna Creek Veterinary Hospital and were saying what an amazing staff they have. Dr. Purewal is extremely knowledgeable and kind. He and his staff are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend Laguna Creek highly.

Dr. Saradarian at Country Vet is the best!!! He is so knowledgeable and his fees are much more reasonable than the other vets in the area. I would recommend Country Veterinary Hospital in a heartbeat!

For more than 20 years we have been customers of Bradshaw Vet. No where else will you get the caring and professional care that your pet needs. Look no further, Bradshaw Vet is the place to go!

I grave been going to Bradshaw Vet for over 25 years and have always been pleased. I absolutely have high respect for Dr Wentz and Dr Zatkin. The bummer is the prices have increased a few times since being sold to VCARD, but I get good service. Now to tell you where not to go, Franklin Ranch. They are not helpful at all and have poor service. I think the only time you will get good service is when you pull out the checkbook. I was very disappointed, it looks like Dr Zehnder put a lot of money into a state of the art facility, but if your service sucks, you won't last.

We have been taking our animals to Grantline for 20 years now. Dr. Gaines & Dr. Lenard are fantastic! They are not quite as competitive as other vets in the area, but I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for and they've always been willing to work with me.
