You’ve heard the phrase vote with your dollars, well, now you can stretch that a bit into voting by way of coffee cup choice. While you’re at it, enjoy a free cup o’ joe on 7-Eleven on its CofFREE Day on Friday.
Participating stores will give away a free large coffee from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sept. 28.
You choose a blue cup or a red cup as your vote for president in the company’s 7-Election campaign.
The company’s 7-Election website will keep tabs on who is winning. As of this posting, Barack Obama is ahead of Mitt Romney 61 percent to 39 percent in California.
