Luxury Oasis

Beneath the palm trees' shade lies a palace fit for a king...a concrete king, that is.

Local concrete entrepreneur Scott Silva built this Mediterranean-style, nouveau-riche retreat to share with his wife, Lisa. The two grew up in Elk Grove and attended Elk Grove High School together, but the home outlasted the marriage. Now its sweeping driveways and manicured lawns await anyone with $3.95 million burning a hole in his or her pocket.

"This is arguably the nicest property in Elk Grove," says realtor Gil Albiani, who's selling the home. With 10,000 square feet, terrazzo marble floors and a 15-foot-deep pool with fountain and diving platform, it's likely the most elaborate. The home boasts a soundproof music room, restaurant-caliber kitchen, and poolside underwater viewing room designed by the same folks who brought us the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Oh, and don't forget the smart lights and custom ceiling treatments.

Albiani says the sprawling estate's 60 acres could be legally subdivided into three 20-acre lots. So grab your millionaire buddies, and give him a call.
