Mobile Food Festival Rolling into Town Sunday

More than 15 vendors to participate in Elk Grove Street Food Fest.

Mobile food tucks will roll into Elk Grove this weekend during a street food fest that includes more than 15 on-wheel eateries.

It's scheduled to take place Sunday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the (near the Pavilion). The event will also include a beer and wine garden "if all goes well," according to an email from Elk Grove Council Member Steve Detrick.

The event – which is hosted by Elk Grove Mayor Jim Cooper and Detrick, along with Cosumnes Community Services District Board of Directors Vice President Rod Brewer and Board Members Michelle Orrock and Rich Lozano – supports the Elk Grove Police Activities League.
