Presidents Day celebrates our first president’s birthday, as well as honors all of our nation’s past presidents.

Though George Washington’s actual birthday is Feb. 22, the federal holiday—generally observed with mattress sales and finding ways to keep the kiddies entertained—always falls on the third Monday of the month.

My favorite is Bill Clinton but that is subject to change when Hillary is elected in 2016.

One thing I love about this true great man is that he understood that there needs to be a separation between religion and the government. He was a Freemason and also understood the benefit of Christian philosophy and values in our country. Somewhere along the line this has been lost, and I feel that a lot of the problems we have today are a result of this.
