Surf Xtreme Has One Last Day of Summer

Wednesday was the last day of summer for many Elk Grove kids.

Traditional-schedule schools in the Elk Grove Unified School District start up again Thursday, and some kids stretched their summers to the last day at indoor surfing attraction Surf Xtreme.

Surf Xtreme opens early during the summer, and extended its summer hours until Wednesday at the request of its customers, the business said on Facebook.

Surf Xtreme, 3443 Laguna Blvd., is open until 9 p.m. Wednesday. After that the business is closed Monday and Tuesday; and is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
