The Elk Grove-South County Democratic Club is holding its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at 6:30 p.m .
Nancy Chaires, a court-appointed Special Advocate for Children (CASA) as well as a Special Projects Consultant with the Department of Education, will be the main speaker at the August meeting. In addition, she is a member of the Elk Grove Planning Commission, and as such, she will discuss issues pertinent to Elk Grove and then open the floor up for questions and answers.
The meeting will be held at the Elk Grove Library, Elk Grove Boulevard and Elk Grove-Florin Road beginning at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.
