Laguna Creek High School Drumline and Guard Competition

1st Annual Winter Drumline-Guard


Show at Cosumnes Oaks High School.

The Laguna Creek High School Band Boosters are sponsoring


its first ever California Color Guard Circuit Winter Drumline-Winter Guard


competition on Saturday, February 15th. 

This year, the competition will be held at Cosumnes Oak High School

(8350 Lotz Parkway, Elk Grove).

Have you seen the movie, Drumline?  Ever wish you could see a drumline perform

LIVE?  Then come watch the Winter Drumline

competition from Noon to 1:30pm.  There

will be drums, bells, cymbals and other percussion equipment.

Come for the drums and stay for the interpretive dance that

includes rifles, flags and sabers as the Color Guard units do routines to

music.  Performers will be dancing, tossing

rifles and sabers and spinning colorful flags.  Competition is from 5:00pm to 8:0pm.

There will be precision performances by high school

percussion and guard teams from the Bay Area and the Sacramento Area.  There is one international group!

The cost??  Wristband

are $10 for adults and $5 for students. 


The wristband is good for both competitions.

Food and drink will be available throughout the day at an


additional cost.
