E-Waste and Shredding Fundraiser

The Elk Grove Police Activities League is a non-profit organization designed to bridge the gap between cops, kids, and the community. Our endeavor is to produce good citizens, build character and prevent crime. The Elk Grove Police Activities League has partnered with CEAR, California Electronic Asset Recovery, to recycle all of the collected e-waste and shredding. CEAR will completely shred all hard drives at their securely monitored facility. Participants won't even have to get out of their car. Pop the truck or open the door and we will unload it for you!

Accepted Items: monitors, televisions, desktop and notebook PCs, VCRs, stereo equipment, speakers, keyboards, computer mice, PDAs, digital cameras, zip drives, telephones, cell phones, printers, copiers, laser and multi-function scanners and fax machines, small household appliances such as toasters, microwaves, mixers & blenders, vacuum cleaners with the dust bag removed.
