Valentine's Pet Portraits on Offer at Shelter

A photographer will shoot 'My Furry Valentine' photos this weekend.

Is your pet your Valentine? If so, you might want to head over to the Sacramento County Animal Shelter this weekend.

The shelter, located at 3839 Bradshaw Rd., will have a professional photographer on hand from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday to take "Valentine’s Day themed portraits of pets and their owners," according to a press release (PDF link).

The shelter is asking for a $10 donation for each photo.
