Review: The Expendables 2 is Loud, Dumb, Action-Filled Fun

The team of '80s action heroes head out on another mission, making this sequel better than the original.

Our team of action heroes get betrayed on an overseas mission and they set out on revenge in The Expendables 2.

Sure there are dopey scenes but the action sequences are great with Chuck Norris' character stealing every scene he is in. Jean-Claude Van Damme plays a great bad guy and his fight scenes with Sylvester Stallone are some of the best I've seen in a while.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, on the other hand, seemed a bit rusty but really, he's nerver been much of an actor anyway.

The action is non stop from the opening scene to the climatic airpot battle its fun to watch.

The Expendables two features just about every action star of the 80's. If you grew up with these guys it works as a great nostalgia trip.

The flick-o-meter gives The Expendables 2 a four out of five. Its a fun movie and a great end to the summer movies season.

This film joins The Avengers as probably one of only two movies this summer that didn't disappoint it's target demographic. Sly rules.

Why not down to Grantline and then head back north along the freeway? Plus Kammerer will eventuallyRead More be widened all the way to I-5 and commuters can use that too. Take Grantline to Kammerer to Bruceville.

An overpass and off/on ramps will be built at Whitelock Parkway after the mall is built, whichRead More should take place after the soccer stadium is built, which should take place after the city secures a professional soccer team. Elk Grove better make sure the professional soccer team is a women's team, or else LaWanna Montgomery will be mad.

Thanks for the suggestion. The City is currently studying a new interchange off 99 and Whitelock,Read More and the project is in our General Plan. We’re also updating the Elk Grove Blvd. onramp—currently one of the most outdated on 99 in the region. Work will begin this summer.
