Deadly Explosion Reported at Boston Marathon: 12 From Elk Grove Were Running
A dozen people from Elk Grove and three from Wilton are registered as competitors in the event.
A day of celebration has turned into tragedy and chaos as two explosions take place about an hour after the first man crossed the finished line in Boston this Monday.
According to the Boston Athletic Association website, 12 people registered for the race from Elk Grove and three from Wilton. Of those, all but Cherilyn Estrada, Kris Vogt and Kellie Vogt are listed as having finished the race.
