Elk Grove Man Arrested by Sheriff's Dept. on Child Porn Charges

The following press release was issued by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department on Dec.  21: 


Sheriff’s detectives have arrested a man in connection with the receipt and distribution of child pornography. Humberto J. Lozano, 25, was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail late yesterday afternoon on three felony counts of receipt and distribution of child pornography resulting from the investigation. He is being held without the possibility of bail.   

 

The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received information that Lozano (see attached photo) was trading files of child pornography with other people via the internet and email. A state search warrant was served at Lozano’s residence in the 5100 block of Dipper Drive in Elk Grove.  Detectives discovered that Lozano had recently moved and were able to locate him at his worksite in the city of Granite Bay, where he was taken into custody.

Detectives are asking anyone who has information pertaining to Lozano and any unlawful activity to contact the High-Tech Crimes Task Force at (916) 874-3002.
