Elk Grove Sports Coach Arrested on Charges of Sexting Teen Girl

The following is a press release from the Elk Grove Police Department: 


On November 26, 2013, officers from the Elk Grove Police Department arrested 48-year-old Anthony Mosley (photo attached) for sending inappropriate text messages to a 16-year-old girl. 

During the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Mosley had engaged in sending inappropriate text messages, and in one case, a photo that was of a sexual nature to the 16-year-old victim.  Detective have also confirmed that Mosley was actively training and coaching youth at Bartholomew Sports Park.  At this time, it is unknown if there are additional victims.

Mosley is currently in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail and is being held on a bail of $150,000.00 for Penal Code Sections 288.2(a) Distribution or Exhibition of Lewd Material to Minor and 288.3 Communicate with a Minor with Intent to Commit Sex Offense.
