Members of the Elk Grove Police Department will participate in an annual SWAT training session Wednesday in Sacramento.
The exercises, put on by the Sacramento Division of the FBI, will include 25 law enforcement agencies from around the region. They'll practice techniques with K9 units, hostage situations, vehicle stops, close-quarters fighting and more.
More than 400 officers and agents are scheduled to participate, including members of the Napa County Sheriff's Department for the first time.
