Fire Displaces One, Kills Two Cats
Firefighters also rescue four kittens from Emerald Vista Drive blaze.
A fire caused $80,000 in damage to a home in the 9300 block of Emerald Vista Drive early Tuesday morning, displacing its occupant and killing two cats, firefighters said.
Cosumnes Fire Chief Tracey Hansen said the cause of the blaze was under investigation.
No humans were injured, she said, but firefighters were able to rescue four kittens when they arrived around 3:30 a.m.
