Location: Elsie Av. / Iona Way.
Suspect: CORMIER, ROY (BMA, 49, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle and was known to be on probation along with having a suspended driver’s license. A probation search of S-1 led to the discovery of a counterfeit U.S. currency. S-1 was arrested then released after being issued a misdemeanor citation.

Suspect #1:JUVENILE (BMJ, 17, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2:JUVENILE (BMJ 16, ARRESTED)

S-1 and S-2 (Elk Grove residents) were issued citations for violating curfew then released to their parents.

EVENING WATCH

Location: 9000 block of Duovo Way.
Victim #1: JUVENILE (WMJ, 14)
Victim #2: JUVENILE (BMJ, 14)
Suspects: UNKNOWN (HMA, 20’s)

V-1 and V-2 were approached by two Hispanic males who displayed handguns and demanded property. Fearing for his safety, V-1 complied and gave the suspects his cell phone. S-1 was described as being tall and slender, wearing a black beanie with a ponytail, tan long sleeve shirt with white pants and was armed with a silver handgun. S-2 was described as being heavy set and was wearing a black t-shirt with red/black basketball shorts and was armed with a black handgun.

Location: 7500 block of Laguna Blvd.
Victim: CAMPOS, MERCEDES (HFA, 41)
Suspects: UNKNOWN (BFJ, 13-16)

V-1 was loading groceries into her vehicle when S-1 and S-2 grabbed V-1’s purse from the shopping cart and fled on foot. A passerby observed the theft and gave chase after the suspects. The suspects dropped V-1’s purse which was recovered by the witness and returned to V-1. S-1 was described as being 5’5” tall with a skinny build. She was wearing a yellow shirt and her hair was up. S-2 was described as being heavier than S-1 and was wearing a pink stripped shirt with jeans.

Location: 8900 block of Elk Grove Blvd.
Suspect: VIERNES, CHRISTINA (WFA, 43, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Thanks for the suggestion. The City is currently studying a new interchange off 99 and Whitelock,Read More and the project is in our General Plan. We’re also updating the Elk Grove Blvd. onramp—currently one of the most outdated on 99 in the region. Work will begin this summer.

An overpass and off/on ramps will be built at Whitelock Parkway after the mall is built, whichRead More should take place after the soccer stadium is built, which should take place after the city secures a professional soccer team. Elk Grove better make sure the professional soccer team is a women's team, or else LaWanna Montgomery will be mad.
