Kerr Middle School Locked Down as Police Search for Burglary Suspects

Elk Grove Police placed the school on lockdown, but lifted it after three suspects were detained.

Update 2: The "school lockdown has been lifted," the Elk Grove Police Department said on Twitter.

Update: The third suspect has been located and arrested, police say.

Police are searching for residential burglary suspects in Elk Grove, and have placed a middle school on lockdown.

Two have been arrested, and one is still at large.

The suspects were last seen in the 9500 block of Colton Avenue, according to a message posted to the Elk Grove Police Department's Twitter feed.

Nearby Joseph Kerr Middle School has been locked down, police said.

An overpass and off/on ramps will be built at Whitelock Parkway after the mall is built, whichRead More should take place after the soccer stadium is built, which should take place after the city secures a professional soccer team. Elk Grove better make sure the professional soccer team is a women's team, or else LaWanna Montgomery will be mad.

Why not down to Grantline and then head back north along the freeway? Plus Kammerer will eventuallyRead More be widened all the way to I-5 and commuters can use that too. Take Grantline to Kammerer to Bruceville.
