Man Allegedly Drunk, Lets 10-Year-Old Drive Instead (June 30)

Suspect: TRAN, DIEU (AMA, 45, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was arrested for public intoxication then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: PROCTOR, ANGELA (WFA, 29, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for public intoxication then placed in the back seat of a police vehicle. While en route to the jail, S-1 kicked out a rear window to the police vehicle. S-1 placed in a restraint device then transported to the main jail.

Location: 4500 block of Freitag Way.
Victim: CONFIDENTIAL (WFJ, 10)
Suspect: GRAU, KENNETH (WMA, 55, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to the area of Mykonos Way and Freitag Way regarding a young child driving a vehicle. As officers were checking the area, they observed that V-2 was operating a motor vehicle while sitting on S-1`s lap. An enforcement stop was conducted and S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. While officers were conducting their investigation into S-1’s sobriety, S-1 refused to comply with instructions. When officers attempted to handcuff S-1, he became angry and resisted. Officers used physical force and took S-1 to the ground in order to gain control and compliance. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. S-1’s daughter (V-1) was released to an adult at the request of S-1.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, S-1 gouged V-1 in the eye and head-butted V-1 with his forehead. V-1 suffered visible injuries. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. V-1 was issued and emergency protective order.

Suspect: MASSONI, KYLE (WMA, 29, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Sacramento resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation while inside a vehicle. S-1 threatened V-1 then pulled his vehicle over to the side to the road in a residential neighborhood. S-1 pushed V-1 out of the vehicle then dragged V-1 into a ditch while covering V-1’s nose and mouth. S-1 then drove away in his vehicle leaving V-1 behind. V-1 was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation. S-1 was found to have violated an active restraining order and he also had an active warrant for his arrest. S-1 was later located at his residence and arrested then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Suspect: HILL, JAKE (WMA, 26, ARRESTED)

Officers responded to the above location regarding an intoxicated driver. Officers located the described vehicle and contacted S-1 (Manteca resident) after he pulled over. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Elk Grove better make sure the professional soccer team is a women's team, or else LaWanna Montgomery will be mad.

Thanks for the suggestion. The City is currently studying a new interchange off 99 and Whitelock,Read More and the project is in our General Plan. We’re also updating the Elk Grove Blvd. onramp—currently one of the most outdated on 99 in the region. Work will begin this summer.
