A 22-year-old Sacramento resident was arrested over the weekend after being caught breaking into a Cosumnes Community Services District maintenance building, Elk Grove Police say.
According to the police department's crime log, officers responded to an alarm at the Big Horn Boulevard building around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, and saw Issac Rodriguez-Flores exit the rear of the building. He ran from officers but was caught and arrested after officers "confirmed that [he] had broken into the building," the crime log states.
Rodriguez-Flores is currently being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail on a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest, a misdemeanor charge of burglary, and a hold from the U.S. Border Patrol, indicating his immigration status could be in question.
He is currently not eligible for bail and is scheduled to appear in court next week, according to county records.
