Missing Man Described as Armed and Suicidal

Update: Police say Lomack has turned himself in.

Police in Elk Grove are asking for the community's help in locating a man who a family member believes may be armed and suicidal.

Nicholas Lomack, 33, is missing and is considered at-risk, a press release from the Elk Grove Police Department said.

"Mr. Lomack drove away from his Elk Grove residence around 9:30 a.m. in a 2010 white Toyota Tundra pickup truck bearing California license plate 8T78462," the press release states. "According to the family member, Lomack left his residence with a semi-automatic 9mm handgun."

ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating 33-year-old Nicholas Lomack (photo attached).  A family member described Mr. Lomack as being suicidal and believed that he was armed with a handgun.

Mr. Lomack drove away from his Elk Grove residence around 9:30 a.m. in a 2010 white Toyota Tundra pickup truck bearing California license plate 8T78462 (stock photo attached).  According to the family member, Lomack left his residence with a semi-automatic 9mm handgun.     

Nicholas Lomack is described as an African-American male adult, 6’3”, 165 lbs., with short black hair and brown eyes.  At this time, there is no information available regarding the clothing Mr. Lomack was wearing.   

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Nicholas Lomack is asked to immediately contact the Elk Grove Police Department Dispatch Center at (916) 691-5246.
