Referral Request

The Elk Grove Police Department and the Cosumnes CSD and Wilton Fire Departments are embarking on their 18th Annual Community Toy Project.  The Toy Project is a non-profit event aimed at supplying less fortunate families within our community with toys for their children at Christmas.  This project owes its continued success to the generosity of local businesses and citizens.

We are therefore, asking for your assistance once again to make this year’s event just as successful.  We would like you to identify children in your school that meet the requirements and would benefit from this event.  Once you have identified the child/children, please fill out a Referral Request. Make sure the form is filled out completely. The referrals may be mailed to (or dropped off at) the Elk Grove Police Department/Community Services Center at 8400 Laguna Palms Way, Elk Grove, CA 95758.  They may also be faxed to (916) 691-0418. We will only accept referrals until November 30, 2012.

Please make sure the following requirements are met before filling out a referral request:

  1. The child must live within the Elk Grove city limits, Wilton or Herald.
  2. The child must be under the age of eighteen (18).

If one or both of the above requirements is not fulfilled, please contact the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department Toy Drive at (916) 361-4571 or The Salvation Army at (916) 442-0331.

If you have any questions, please contact the Crime Prevention Specialist Denise Costello at (916) 478-8117or Firefighter/Paramedic Justin Quarisa (209) 663-8094.
