Police Officer's Badge, Weapon Stolen

The items were taken from officer's personal vehicle

An Elk Grove police officer's badge and nondepartment-issued firearm was stolen from his personal vehicle Friday afternoon, the Sacramento Bee reports.

The burglary was reported around 4 p.m. in the 7700 block of Vineyard Road in Sacramento.
