Police Release Sketch of UPS Store Robber

The Laguna Blvd store was held up at gunpoint Friday.

The Elk Grove Police Department released a drawing Wednesday of a man they say at gunpoint last week.

Witnesses at the scene said the man—who police describe as African-American, 6'2" and about 20 years of age—has a cursive tattoo on his right cheek, a detail police hope will help the public recognize him. They could not identify what the tattoo said.

The suspect entered the store with an accomplice around 6:00 p.m. Friday, police say, brandishing a revolver and ordering a driver behind the counter. He and the other robber forced then another employee to give them cash from the register and fled towards Tegan Road, according to police.
