Suspected Gang Members Allegedly Found with Gun, Arrested
Four were arrested in an incident early Thursday morning.
Authorities in Elk Grove say on Thursday they arrested three gang members who were found with an unregistered handgun, along with an onlooker who wouldn't heed instructions.
According to an Elk Grove Police Department crime log, 20-year-old Galt resident Salvador Collazo was stopped while driving near Bond and Elk Grove-Florin roads around 4 a.m.

His passenger in the car, 21-year-old Manteca resident Jose Cruz-Arroyo, was found to have a felony warrant out for his arrest from Stanislaus County.
"As [Cruz-Arroyo] exited the vehicle, a handgun was observed at his feet on the floorboard," the crime log states.

The gun was found to be loaded and not registered, police say.
Cruz-Arroyo and Collazo, along with fellow passenger Antonio Torres, a 20-year-old Galt resident, were found to be "validated members of a street gang" and were arrested on felony firearm and gang participation charges. As they were being detained, an 18-year-old Elk Grove woman approached the scene.
"[The 18-year-old woman] was instructed not to approach the location," the crime log states. "[She] refused to stop and was detained after she failed to comply with instructions."
Elk Grove Police Department spokesman Office Chris Trim said the 18-year-old, Elizabeth Guerrero, "apparently knew one of the occupants inside the vehicle."
Guerrero was arrested on charges of resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer, Trim said.
The three men from the vehicle are being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail on varying bail amounts. They are all due in court Monday.
