Suspects Sought in Taco Bell Heist

Police are looking for two young men who held up the Laguna Blvd restaurant at gunpoint May 27.

Elk Grove police are asking residents to help them identify the two young men that held up a Taco Bell on Laguna Blvd the night of May 27.

One masked man trained a gun on the fast food restaurant's employees, while the other jumped over the counter and ordered them to stuff money into plastic Taco Bell bags, according to a report from the Elk Grove Police Department.

Police describe the first suspect in the robbery, which took place about 9:15 p.m., as slim, African-American and about 20 years old, wearing a white T-shirt and jeans. Police say the other suspect is white or Latino, weighs about 200 lbs. and wore black pants and a black hoodie. Both wore white cloths over their faces.

The men left the restaurant with the money and were last seen running down Laguna Park Drive.
