WTF EGPD?? we moved here thinking this area was safe.. every other day I get a breaking news update someone got robbed at gun point.. even my vehicle was broken into in December... its a bit frustrating now! Stop the dam speed traps and go get some bad guys off our streets

I agree with you Joe. We also moved here few years ago thinking this area was safe. My husband got his car stolen from our home then we see graffiti everywhere. People and businesses are being robbed at gun point at daylight and at night. EGPD received a grant for special traffic enforcement and crash prevention. (http://www.elkgrovepd.org/releases/2013/pr-01-24-13.pdf). The EGPD needs to protect the citizens and our streets and get the bad guys off our streets.

Read the police logs to see how many criminals are caught during traffic stops. People with outstanding warrants, drugs, illegal weapons, stolen merchandise.
