Motorist finds two men suffering from gunshot wounds on Elk Grove sidewalk
One man was shot dead and another critically wounded on an Elk Grove sidewalk late Friday afternoon, according to Chris Trim, spokesman for the .
Trim said that a passing motorist called 911 after finding two Punjabi-speaking men suffering from gunshot wounds on East Stockton Boulevard. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, emergency personnel took the second man to an area hospital.
The shooting is under investigation. Trim said Friday evening that investigators do not yet have a suspect.
