A car crashed into the on Bruceville Road Wednesday injuring two people, the Cosumnes Fire Department and Elk Grove Police Department are reporting.
Both agencies posted messages on Twitter around 1:35 p.m. Wednesday reporting the accident, and saying that injuries were been reported.
According to the Sacramento Bee and CBS13, a male customer suffered major leg injuries and a woman was transported to a local hospital as a precaution. The driver was an 81-year-old man, the outlets reported.
HomeTown Buffet, 9089 Bruceville Rd., is closed until Thursday while workers repair the damage.
