Elk Grove is seeking to expand its Sphere of Influence by 8,000 acres.
Elk Grove GRASP, a community group that has come out in opposition to the city's quest to expand its Sphere of Influence (SOI), will hold a community forum on that topic next week.
The forum will be held Tuesday at the Elk Grove Boulevard library, and will feature an appearance from a doctor who gave an anti-urban sprawl presentation in Redding several years ago.
