Dan Lungren to Hold Town Hall in Elk Grove Next Week

The Congressman will meet with residents on Tuesday.

Elk Grove residents hoping to ask Rep. Dan Lungren (R-Gold River) some questions about his tenure in Congress or his bid for reelection will have the chance to do just that next week.

Lungren will hold a town hall meeting from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the .

Lungren, a former state attorney general and longtime congressman serving in various districts, is running for election in the newly created District 7 against Ami Bera, an Elk Grove resident and physician.

, he finished ahead of Bera with 53 percent of the vote, compared with 41 percent for Bera.
