Elk Grove Citizen to Hold Election Forum Tuesday

Candidates for Elk Grove mayor and Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Education will meet again Tuesday night.

Voters will have another chance to learn about candidates running for office in Elk Grove at a candidates forum hosted by the Elk Grove Citizen newspaper Tuesday evening.

The forum will be held at The Commons at Elk Grove, a retirement home located at 9564 Sabrina Lane.

The eight candidates running for school board will take the stage at 6:30 p.m., while mayoral hopefuls will discuss their platforms and positions at 8 p.m.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided at 6 p.m., the newspaper reports.

Thanks for the suggestion. The City is currently studying a new interchange off 99 and Whitelock,…Read More and the project is in our General Plan. We’re also updating the Elk Grove Blvd. onramp—currently one of the most outdated on 99 in the region. Work will begin this summer.
