Elk Grove Election Guide 2012: Elk Grove School Board
Four Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Education seats will be up for election in November.
This fall, voters will choose board members in four of the seven seats on the Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Education:
Area 1, which includes Florin and areas of south Sacramento to the east of Highway 99, is currently represented by William Lugg. He is retiring, and three candidates are vying for his seat: .
Area 3, which is approximately the area west of Highway 99 from Meadowview Road to Sheldon Road, is currently represented by Chet Madison. He is running for reelection unopposed.

Area 6, which generally includes Franklin and the areas west of Highway 99 and south of Elk Grove Boulevard, is currently represented by appointed Trustee Jake Rambo. He is being challenged by Steve Ly.
Area 7, which includes Vineyard, Rancho Murieta and part of Rancho Cordova, is currently represented by Al Rowlett. He is being challenged by Theresa Beals and Carmine Forcina.

Also, Pollyanna Cooper-LeVangie, who represented Area 4, announced recently that she would resign; she was replaced by Bobbie Singh-Allen.
