Join the Elk Grove Police Department's Citizens Academy, a 16-week program for civilians which covers a variety of topics connected to municipal policing, including investigations and 911 communications.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have no felony convictions and live or work in Elk Grove.  Background checks will be performed on all would-be participants.
